BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Focuses on the operations and finances of the organization and ensures Methow Pride's activities stay mission-aligned.

SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE

Calling all event planners who love a little sparkle and a lot of queer fun! Help execute Methow Pride's larger annual community events — Pride Hockey, Snowball, and Pride Fest.

  • Who: LGBTQ+ folks and allies

  • When: Individuals can select to support specific events or year-round activities. Pride Hockey (Feb), Snowball (March), Pride Fest (Late May/June)

  • Meeting Time: Flexible. Usually monthly 4 months before an event. Then every other week the 6 weeks leading up to an event.

  • You do not need to attend all meetings or support all events to join! All allied community members welcome.

QUEER COUNCIL

Realizes the organization's mission and vision through program dreaming and event feedback, and identifying community needs.

  • Who: LGBTQ+ community members only

  • Term: 1 year

  • Commitment: 12 hrs/yr

PAID STAFF

A lot of behind the scenes work makes Methow Pride possible and we need help with large event execution, facilitating groups/programs, administrative tasks, poster distribution, and communications.

Does some or all of that sound like you?

  • Who: Person living in the Methow Valley

  • Pay: $28-34/hr

  • Time: Flexible based on # of interested individuals and desired responsibilities 10-15 hrs/wk total fluctuates based on upcoming events

  • Role Based on Interest: We are looking to build roles around organizational needs and individual capacity and interest. Let’s find a way to work together!
